Many office supply (OfficeMax, Staples, OfficeDepot), electronic stores
(BestBuys, Circuit City) and Department Stores (WalMart, Shopko etc.)
all sell printers and ink.
I often tell people to look at the price of ink when selecting a
printer.
The price on ink cartridges is outrageous. When I'm looking at
printers, ink is often the deal breaker. One of the
least expensive places to buy ink is online. I have had great
prices and service from a company called 123inkjets.
They offer free shipping and you normally get your order
within a couple of days. There are many supplier online for
printer ink. Please check if there is a shipping charge involved.
Want a used printer? Go to the Computer Reuse & Recycle Center in Eugene at 2nd & Polk. You can buy used printer at a fraction of the new price, icluding HP Laser printers.
If you have a Dell GX100 computer without a CD-Rom drive, you may have to call
me to install the printer software. Most of the used printers have software
already on your computer that will make it run. Try hooking up the printer
first as see if the proper software is present. If not call
me.
