I:- Purpose of Site:-
1.0 - The purpose of this Website is to publish "The Einstein Hoax", with its earlier rigorously derived sources, "Gravity", and "Corrections to Special Relativity". "The Einstein Hoax" is intended for those who have been suspicious of the premise that reality is so subtle that it can only be understood in terms of sophisticated abstract mathematics to which only the elite were privy. The understanding of reality in concrete terms was presented as being beyond the capability of intelligent individuals. Instead, reality turns out to be readily understandable in terms of common sense reasoning once the smoke and mirrors of mathematical obfuscation and the mathematical and logical errors associated with Special and General Relativity have been removed. All that is required in an evaluating their reading of these texts is a good understanding of undergraduate level physics and a passing familiarity with the meaning of elementary calculus. Those without a basic grounding in these subjects will have difficulty in evaluating the validity of the material presented, but they should have little difficulty in following the concepts. (More patience will be required when reading the appendices since they are quite rigorous.) The Alice in Wonderland reality of Black Holes, Singularities, Wormholes, Superstrings, etc. vanishes and, by reverse engineering, the nature, construction, origin and fate of our Universe becomes rather obvious. (As the cycles and epicycles of pre-Copernican astronomical theory demonstrate, General Relativity and the Superstring concept show that any theory can be made to agree with observation if one adds enough superfluous degrees of freedom).
1.1 - When one corrects two minor errors which still exist in the mathematics of Special Relativity, as is done rigorously in "Corrections to Special Relativity" and derives the properties of the gravitational field in a rigorous manner, as is done in "Gravity" (both included at this Website), all sorts of completely unexpected results are obtained in terms which are completely consistent with common sense. These results include the location of kinetic energy, the nature of mass, the reason for the relativistic effects of velocity, the source of gravitational energy, the mechanics of the apparent "Big Bang" origin of the Universe and its subsequent expansion, and even the nature of matter and the source of the forces between particles. The likelihood of the results which are provided being wrong are vanishingly small. Unlike the mathematical reasoning typically used by theoretical physicists, which has the unfortunate characteristic that the probability of error increases with the number of steps, the probability of error when common sense methods are applied in a disciplined and self consistent manner in parallel with the necessary mathematics decreases as the number of steps and factors involved increases. It is impossible to complete a jigsaw puzzle incorrectly.
1.2 - In your reading of the material presented, the author asks you not to take his word or the word of anyone else for anything. Instead, he asks that you check the material presented with your own knowledge, intelligence, and common sense. The only background required to allow you to check its validity is an understanding of College Level Freshman Physics and a familiarity with the principles of Elementary Calculus. Please do not accept the fiction that the subject matter can only be understood by highly educated individuals in terms of abstract mathematics. When an expert cannot make himself understood by an intelligent and motivated layman, it invariably means that the expert does not understand his subject! The author hopes that the material presented passes this test. He can only guarantee, however, that he has done his homework and that the material presented has been developed with extreme care.

II:- Considerations in Presenting "The Einstein Hoax"
2.0 - The Use of a Pseudonym:-
The author apologizes for using the pseudonym, H. E. Retic, in publishing "The Einstein Hoax" rather than his own name. This step was taken at the request of the author's family as a buffer against crank responses which may occur as a consequence of the material presented. The author will, however, respond directly to E-mail addressed to einsteinhoax@isp.com2.1 - Making The Texts Compatible With the HTML Language:-
- The lack of the HTML "no-break" function in some browsers may cause expressions containing subscripts, superscripts, and certain symbols to be split between two lines when the sense of the text requires that they be on the same line. This limitation does not occur in Netscape and late (1998) versions of Microsoft’s Explorer. The necessary "no-break" commands have been included in the text, and if your browser supports the function, all such expressions will appear on the same line of text.
- In the texts, the following considerations apply:
- A single "*" represents a multiplication.
- While it might seem desirable to employ non-ASCII symbols as done in the original text, the author has no assurance that they will reproduce properly on all browsers. Accordingly, where necessary conventional keyboard symbols are substituted for the non-ASCII symbols.
- In order to insure proper printing of the diagrams at the end of each chapter, it is recommended that the printer margins be set at 0.5 inches at the top, right side and bottom and att 1.0 inches at the left side to facillitate binding in a three hole notebook. It is also recommended that the HTML printed page designator functions for filename, date, time, and page number, which normally appear at the extreme corners of each printed page, be turned off since they are not consistent with the "multipage" printing of a complete book. To by-pass the need for individual page numbers, each paragraph is numbered both as to chapter and paragraph number. Printed files should be suitable for binding in a three hole binder.
2.2 - The author had hoped that the HTML language employed on the World Wide Web would include the "batch file" and the "form feed" functions which are common to older systems. With these functions it would have been possible for the entire book to be accessed and printed with a single command, diagrams placed in their optimum locations, and conventional book page numbers to have been provided. The author regrets the inconvenience that the lack of these functions entails. An inclusion of a "FORMFEED" command into the HTML protocol to cause the printer to form feed would also have allowed the presentation and printing of these texts with a single command.
2.3 - The presentation of a text containing Tables and/or Figures is compromised by the capability of browsers to allow the user to vary the size of the presentation from an agreed upon standard. As a result, it is necessary to incorporate "page break" commands within the text so that embedded tables and diagrams will not split between two separate printed pades. This will have no effect on texts read directly from the screen but will cause some of the printed pages to contain a blank space at their end to allow the tables and/or diagrams to start at the top of the nect page. Ir is recommended that the printer margins be set at 0.75 inches at the top, right and bottom and at 1.0 inches at the left. Your browser's text size should be initially set at MEDIUM. To test for a suitable printed page size access Print Size Test Page. If printing does not fill page properly, try adjusting the top and bottom margins. To copy text and diagrams to a file "Save As" "Complete HTML Text File".
2.4 - The files being read from the Website may be transfered to a folder on your computer by saving as Internet HTM files.
