OCCUPANCY AND USE
Under the authority of the Act of Congress of June 4, 1897, as amended (16 USC 55 1), and the Secretary of Agriculture's Regulations 36 CFR 261.50(a) and or (b), the following acts and omissions are prohibited on the Wasatch-Cache National Forest:
1. Possessing a dog not on a leash or otherwise confined. 36 CFR 261.53(e)
This order applies to all land within T3N, R12E, Sections 6, 19, 20, 29, 30 and 31, Salt Lake Meridian; T3N, RIIE Sections 24,25, and 26; T2N, Salt Lake Meridian, RI IE sections 3 and 4, Salt Lake Meridian,. on Wasatch-Cache National Forest land.
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(e) the following person(s) will be exempt from the order:
1. Any Federal, State, or Local Officer, or members of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty.
2. Persons with a valid permit in their possession and signed by the District Ranger or Foresst Supervisor specifically exempting them from the effect of this order.
Violations of these prohibitions are punishable by a fine of not more than $5000 for an individual or $ 10,000 for an organization, or imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or both.. (16 U.S.C. 551 and 18 U.S.C. 3559 and 3571)

This Order will self-expire on August 1, 2004, unless terminated sooner by the Forest Supervisor.
