Dear Mr. Beck:

This is in response to your July 2 letter addressed to Evanston District Ranger Steve Ryberg and Special Use Permit Administrator Lynn Bidlack. Because your letter expressed concerns about actions taken by a law enforcement officer, it was forwarded to David Ferrell, Intermountain Region Special Agent in Charge, and to me.

We have spent a considerable amount of time researching the allegations submitted in your letter. We can find no record that citations were issued for the July 1st and the July 22nd incident. For those incidents when violations were issued, we find that the officer took the appropriate actions. We have discussed your concerns with the officer.

We appreciate your concerns and are very willing to continue this event in a cooperative manner.
