2004 California Banking Report
The Magic Hat was fat this year. It brought in over 15 thousand dollars, and expenses were lower than usual due to many kitchens supplying themselves, and Acres of Kindness, a farm in California run by Family people, bringing us truckloads of produce and asking the Hat for only gas money. Simply Wonderful kitchen, run by some Krishna devotees (but not members of ISKCON), sent over twenty 5-gallon stainless steel pots of food to Dinner Circle every evening, mostly supplying themselves. ($2000 was given them as partial reimbursement in appreciation for a job well done.) Cleanup was left the largest amount in my memory. Our affluence enabled us to satisfy all applicants with almost no controversy at banking council.
I am on the road right now, and posting on public library computers where I can't send by FTP, which I need to do to add things to my website. So this report is entirely a piece of ASCII art where I have done without tables and tabs. (Sorry, no pie chart this time.) For the columns to line up, you will need to set your reader to a fixed-width font like Courier.
