ATTACHMENT C: STATEMENT OF JEANNIE WILLIAMS

On June 24, 2003 between 7:00 and 8:00 P.M. on the Forest Service road called "old 307", the following incident occurred.

A Forest Service Law Enforcement vehicle with two officers (later visually identified to me as Officer Kenneth Boreman/driver, and Officer Lampshire/front passenger) drove past my campfire and van going up the road. The van belonging to Barry Adams was directly opposite my van across 'old 307'. When the F. S. vehicle with the two officers returned down the road, the officer driving (Officer Boreman) slowed the vehicle until it was going very slowly past my campfire. At that time, I was sitting by the campfire visiting with a friend, Michael.

Officer Boreman asked, "Are they still keeping that little girl in that van?" (indicating Barry's van).

Michael stated, 'We take care of our own little girls."

Officer Boreman (hereafter K.B.) responded, "Yeah. We know there are a lot of pedophiles out here, and we have warrants."

Michael (hereafter M.C.) said, 'We take care of our own little girls!"

K.B.: "Do you have a little girl out here?"

M.C.: "Yes, I do."

K.B.: "Where is she?"

M.C.: "We take care of our own little girls."

K.B.: "Yeah, just like you took care of that little girl who got raped eight or ten times down there last night."

I then asked, "What little girl?". At that time, Officer Boreman accelerated down the road without responding. Later investigation (not only on my own part, but the part of several others), failed to discover females who claimed to have any unwanted sexual advances.

The foregoing is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge and belief.

Sincerely,

(sg) Jeannie Williams,
Jeannie Williams, B.S.N., B.S. Psychology
